The Elementary School

I have been observing in a fifth grade classroom this semester.  This has been a new experience for me because I have only worked with children in second grade and below until now. I have learned a lot through this field experience and children are a joy to work with no matter the age group. I am preparing to teach my lesson this Thursday on the Battle at Fort Sumter. I am excited and nervous to teach this lesson to the students because they are quite a rowdy group. I am incorporating technology into this lesson and I hope that this will help engage the students.
