Description of the ‘relative advantage’ of any and all technology being used in this lesson: Technology aids in the learning process of this WebQuest on the solar system. Students can quickly and easily visit the links to various sites and gather important facts and information about each planet. A variety of visual media is also available on each webpage that will assist in the completion of the planet design. The use of technology allows information to be readily available to students by providing links that take the students directly to a webpage full of facts and information. This is more helpful and less time consuming than spending an hour in the library looking for books that contain the information to answer questions about each planet. Students enjoy technology and computers and the use of the internet during this WebQuest will engage the learner. | |
